It gives us great pleasure to introduce to you the Incirlik Alumni Association. Much hard work and dedication have gone into establishing this organization and we would love for you to be a part of it! Please take the time to read the history of the Incirlik Alumni Association below.

In 1996, Christine Smith-Boddie (Class of '89/@Incirlik 84-86)was looking to get in touch with a few old friends she had lost contact with long ago. She didn't have much luck at first, but when she learned how to use her computer her luck changed! In her quest, she soon discovered that although it seemed every other overseas school had some sort of alumni group, Incirlik had absolutely nothing! The only thing Christine could find on the web pertaining to Incirlik were messages from other students trying to find old friends. As she came across former students & faculty, she started keeping track. The quest quickly snowballed! Thus, the Incirlik Alumni Association was born! Christine was responsible for reuniting hundreds of lost classmates and friends from Incirlik. We all owe Christine our thanks for her efforts, hard work and dedication in reuniting the Incirlik family.

After four years of dedication in the quest to reunite the Incirlik family, Christine decided it was time to pass the fun on to someone else. In the later part of 2000, Peggy Hyatt volunteered for the job. The site has been maintained by Peggy ever since.

The mission of the Incirlik Alumni Association is to reunite former classmates, educators, parents, and friends from Incirlik High School. We are not just for graduates of Incirlik High School. As many of you will agree, and have stated time and time again...our time at Incirlik was "the best time of our lives". All of us met a lot of wonderful people and formed some incredible friendships that have withstood the test of time and distance.

Please keep in mind that all of the work done with regard to our alumni association is voluntary. Therefore, please be patient when waiting for a response to an email, or making changes to your listed information. Information regarding upcoming events, reunions, gatherings, etc., will be posted as soon as possible. The Incirlik Alumni Association maintains a database and website for the use of our members. We do not charge alumni association dues, and do not want to ever start doing so. However, there are expenses incurred periodially to maintain the site and database. Anyone who wishes to help out may make contributions to the alumni association. We are also very interested in your comments and or suggestions.

We currently have the names, addresses, etc. of over 1200 former Incirlik students, faculty and parents maintained in our database. Unfortunately, we don't always get notified of email and/or address changes. Therefore, some of the information may not be accurate. Please understand that we are only as accurate as our members allow us to be. The amount of alumni and faculty we have information on has grown tremendously, and continues to do so each year! Although this is great news for the alumni association, it is a lot of work! You can help us by keeping your own information updated, and also encourage those you keep in contact with to do the same. We also organize reunions and other events, and act as a liaison between the current Incirlik High School Staff, DODDS, and other organizations.

Each and every alumni member is an important link to a time and place that was otherwise known as "the best time of my life!" Therefore, you are very important to us! It does not matter when you were there, or if we ever knew you. You are a part of our family.

Of course, we respect everyone's right to privacy. Please be aware that we currently list all alumni and email addresses on the website. However, if you do not wish your name & email address to be accessible in this manner, you must let us know.
