The Official Incirlik Alumni Association

Welcome Back! Sorry for the long disappearance of the site, and thank you so much for being patient with me! We are back up and running, but still have some changes to make so please be patient with me just a little longer. It has been a real struggle to find a "FREE" way to get the site back up and running. I no longer have access to my free webspace, and therefore have had to retain the services of a webhosting company. Since we do not charge dues, I am absorbing the costs out of my own pocket for the webhosting, domain name, and software, etc., to keep our site alive. Rather than charging dues to all members of our alumni, I have opted to start asking for donations to maintain the site. I will be setting this up via Paypal in the near future, or checks can be snail-mailed to me. A donation link is being worked on now, along with a page recognizing and thanking our contributors. Please keep in mind that the costs associated with maintaining our site are unfortunately generated on a monthly basis, and not merely a one-time charge.

At the Incirlik Alumni Assoc. 10 Yr Anniversary Celebration in Las Vegas we recognized a few VIA's (Very Important Alumni)! We recognized all of those alumni who have served our country in the armed forces. However, we wanted to give special recognition to those who have served, or are currently serving, our country and fighting for our freedom in a war-time environment. Those recognized at this event include Neil Angle, MD (@ Incirlik 76-78) who recently returned from active duty in Iraq, and may be re-deployed later this year. Bruce Beebe (@ Incirlik 74-77; 84) who recently returned from active duty in Iraq, and may be re-deployed again later this year. A special toast and prayer to Tom May (@ Incirlik 77-78) who is currently deployed in Iraq. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always, and also our many thanks for protecting us and helping ensure our freedom.

Our Heros!

We also had another milestone that was vey important to Kim Webber and myself. We had our first faculty member to ever attend one of our reunions at this event! Mrs. Dorothy Witmer (@ Incirlik 74-76), whom some of you may remember as the Health Services Instructor at Incirlik High, was in attendance with her daughters, Jody & Kathy, her son-in-law Geoffrey, and two grand-daughters, Aryn & Hailey. Mrs. Witmer was presented with a bronze Hodja provided by the current IHS Principal, Sandra DiQuinzio.
